To go along with our favourite authors post, here's our favourite illustrators for the 3-5's.

Jane Dyer
I first discovered Jane Dyer as an illustrator when reading one of my favourite books by Mem Fox, Time for Bed. I recently rediscovered her beautiful animal illustrations in Babies on the Go. Jane Dyer is an Australian illustrator and I just love to support our Australian talent!

Julie Vivas
Julie Vivas has been illustrating children's books for close to twenty years, and her watercolours have made memorable contributions to many books. Being an Australian illustrator just adds to the appeal! Vivas the the illustrator behind Possum Magic, Wilfrid Gordon Mcdonald Partridge and Our Granny. She has also written and illustrated her own bookThe Nativity.

David Wojtowycz
Wojtowycz's illustrations are bright and bold. He has illustrated many of Giles Andreae's books such as Rumble in the Jungle, Commotion in the Ocean, The Lion Who Wanted to Love, Cock-a-doodle-doo! Farmyard Hullabaloo! and many more. He has also written and illustrated some of his own books including the fabulous Can You Moo Too?.

Lauren Child
Lauren Child is the author and illustrator behind the popular Charlie and Lola series (and the Clarice Bean series for older readers). Her quirky collage illustrations are fun and gorgeous. Our favourites are I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato (Charlie and Lola), Whoops! But It Wasn't Me (Charlie and Lola) and The Princess and the Pea.

Vanessa Cabban
I first came across Cabban as illustrator of the fabulous Giles Andreae book There's a House Inside My Mummy. She has illustrated many of Andreae's other books such as Heaven is Having You (for younger readers)and The Magic Donkey Ride.
